Welcome & Keynote SpeakerProfessor Scott Davidson, Deputy Vice Chancellor will welcome all delegates to the conference, followed by our Keynote speech by Distinguished Professor Stephen McKay: “A Craft of Research: A View from the Social Sciences”.
10:30am – 11:15am
Session 1
A collection of 15 minute presentations and performances from students.
Morning BreakGet a coffee or tea and a snack at your leisure.
11:45am – 12:30pm
Session 2
A second round of student-led 15 minute presentations.
12:30pm – 1:30pm
LunchGrab some lunch, our compliments! Be sure to network, relax and take a look at the posters and exhibits on display.
1:30pm – 2:00pm
Networking
An interactive networking session, providing an opportunity for you to meet other delegates from across different disciplines.
2:00pm – 2:25pm
Poster Session
An opportunity to browse through the research posters on display, ask questions to those presenting and cast your vote on which poster you feel is best.
Afternoon BreakGrab another drink and get fuelled up for the afternoon.

Q&A Panel Discussion  — The Spirit of Research & the Postgraduate ExperienceA question and answer panel, consisting of Head of the College of Science, Pro Vice Chancellor — Professor Andrew Hunter, Dean of Research — Dr Lisa Mooney, Students’ Union Academic Affairs Officer — Wesley Wells and Postgraduate Student — Claire Markham. Director of The Graduate School, Professor Mike Neary will chair the session, taking pre-prepared questions from the audience. Please note: Q&A question sheets can be found in your delegate pack.
